About the Brand
The soul of Giegling has always been partying and secrecy. Underground productions often start like that, given the prejudice people have against the industry, especially the less mainstream streak of parties.
In the case of Giegling, it started as a closed-door private party in Weimar, but it soon became better known in the area, and the project started growing, bursting at the seams. When the abandoned building they had been using since the beginning was demolished in 2008, Giegling transformed.
Underground is everywhere, and so they became immaterial.
Giegling immaterial feeling is the essence of those glorious days. A group of producers and DJs making music, no publicity beyond word of mouth, only two ways to meet them: go to one of their parties and listen to the DJs on their terms, or buy the vinyl.
Giegling has had presentations worldwide since their transformation, which has opened a lot of international stages to them. They regularly travel the world, and their presentations always grow in quality exponentially. The last stop before Cabo was Giegling Tulum.
In previous editions around the world, the DJ roster has included names such as Dwig, Prince of Denmark, Ateq, Edward, Matthias Reiling, Vril, Kettenkarussell, Rau aka Christopher Rau, Dustin, and many more.
Giegling in Cabo
In March 2025, Giegling is bringing one of their parties to Cabo. Crania is the perfect backdrop for the party, with reclaimed land on the beach amongst heavy machinery. Just like their original, abandoned building, this scenario in front of abandoned machinery is a ghost of the pure Giegling experience.
But we haven't spoken about music. What is the Giegling crew like, what are they presenting in Cabo?
Well, it's not a secret, but no one has disclosed anything official either. We know, about the label, that it focuses on minimalist Techno and House, mostly. Sub-labels of the same producing house meander between explosive industrial productions, to ambient, and finally to downtempo.
On previous occasions worldwide, their presentations have started progressively, with marathonic schedules running up to 14 hours and art installations on-site. Don't be surprised if the list of artists is long, or when you find more than just music.
